Ms. Lee is a Certified Family Law Specialist

who has practiced Family Law exclusively since 2009. Ms. Lee’s practice includes divorce, paternity matters, asset division, complex financial matters, business valuation, child and spousal support, relocation/ “move-away,” other child custody matters, and post-Judgment modifications.

Ms. Lee protects her clients’ assets, and places forefront her clients’ children’s best interests. Ms. Lee provides honest and forthright advice to her clients. Ms. Lee clearly informs her clients of their options and the potential legal consequences of each option, and she guides her clients to find the best solution. To best serve her clients, Ms. Lee strives to achieve her clients’ goals via the most cost-efficient methods.

Trained as a litigator with the Public Defender’s Office during the first five years of her legal career, Ms. Lee is a skilled litigator and trial attorney. Ms. Lee has conducted many multi-day Family Law trials in both the public courts and before private judges.

Despite her litigator training, Ms. Lee’s preferred method in resolving Family Law matters is by creatively assisting her clients in reaching an expeditious and amicable settlement with the opposing party. Ms. Lee understands that many parties, especially parties who are parents, will have continuing relationships long after their legal matter is completed.

Ms. Lee received excellent training from her prior employment at the preeminent law firm of Fox & Bank LLP. Prior to establishing her own law firm, Ms. Lee practiced family law in the counties of Contra Costa, Alameda, Solano, San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Marin.

Ms. Lee keenly understands and appreciates her clients’ emotional and financial needs at every stage of the proceedings: whether her clients are first contemplating divorce or filing a paternity action, whether they are in the midst of settlement negotiations, or whether they are in the thick of trial. With her extensive experience in Family Law, Ms. Lee strives to serve her clients with compassion, honesty, and integrity.

In her spare time, when she is not playing chauffeur her two children, Ms. Lee enjoys reading, cooking, and working out with other Peloton cult members. In addition to being a Certified Family Law Specialist, Ms. Lee is also a Target shopper aficionado.
